The starting prices of souvenirs at Asiatique the Riverfront tend to be about 1.5 times higher than on the streets of Bangkok. For example, the soap is sold for 35 baht per piece on the street (even less at Chatuchak) and the starting price at Asiatique is about 50-60 baht. The same goes to coconut shell bowls – the starting price on the street is 200 baht but here is 290 baht. You can try to bargain but don’t expect to buy something for the best possible price at this night market.

By BTS & Boat

Taking BTS SkyTrain to Saphan Taksin station and then jumping on the Asiatique shuttle boat at the nearby pier is the easiest and fastest way to get to Asiatique the Riverfront.

You can also use Chao Phraya Tourist Boat service for getting all the way from old town to Asiatique the Riverfront Pier (from 16:00 to 18:30 only). 

By Taxi

Take a Bangkok taxi and just tell the driver “Asiatique” as all the taxi drivers in Bangkok should know it. However, a trip by taxi might take quite long as traffic jams are often present in the area. Expect to wait long at the taxi service center when going back by taxi as well.
