The Palladium

The Palladium or The Palladium World Shopping (as they call themselves), is a big shopping mall located on the corner of a busy Ratchaprarop Road and Phetchaburi Road intersection in Pratunam district. The mall can be easily reached from the famous Pratunam Market, as you just need to cross Ratchaprarop Road by overpass.

The Palladium shopping mall itself is not as upscale as the shopping malls in Siam Shopping District, and some pretty decent deals can be found inside of it. However, it’s definitely not the top choice in the area, as Pratunam Market and Platinum Fashion Mall seem to be much more popular among the visitors of Pratunam.

When only the sun goes down, the area in front of The Palladium shopping mall transforms into the Palladium Night Market as the vendors sell up their stalls for late night shopping.

The night market will be just steps away, if you will choose to stay at an affordable 5-star hotel, The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, which is adjacent to The Palladium shopping mall.

The proximity to Pratunam Market helps to keep prices at this night market low, so it’s really worth looking around here. The biggest advantage of this Bangkok's night market is its compactness. If you’re not willing to spend a few hours strolling in the labyrinth of Pratunam Market, pretty much the same deals can be found at Palladium. Of course, the variety of goods being sold here is not that wide. However, if you’re just looking for a t-shirt, souvenir, or electronics for a reasonable price, Palladium Night Market is the place to go in the Pratunam area.

Things to Buy at Palladium Night Market

The thing that first comes to mind when thinking about shopping in Pratunam is definitely clothes. This night market is not an exception, as the vendors selling various clothes occupy the biggest part of the night market.

At this night market you will find plenty of t-shirts for expressing your love to Bangkok and Thailand or just bringing back home as a gift for your friends and family.

Street Food at Palladium Night Market

As the area is not large and spread out around the shopping mall building, you won’t find street food stalls at the night market itself, but there are plenty of them on the pavement in the area around the night market.
