Pattaya is a resort city in Eastern Thailand, situated on the eastern coast of the Gulf of Thailand, only about 150 kilometres south-east of Bangkok.

Pattaya has only two seasons - wet season and dry season.

Dry Season

Between November and May the weather is mostly dry in Pattaya with little rain expected for much of this period. As it's the nearest to Bangkok large beach destination, dry season here runs at the same time like in Thai capital.

Wet Season

Pattaya experiences similar weather patterns to the beaches along the Andaman Sea coast with wet season occurring between May and October. But the amount of rain Pattaya gets is significally lower than destinations in Southern Thailand making it a good place to visit even during the wet season.
