The weather in Thailand in June is characterized by high humidity. During the daytime, the relative humidity is 55-74%. At the beginning of the month, the amount of precipitation is not that high, but it increases during the month. Bangkok and Central Thailand

June in Bangkok and Central Thailand is essentially the same as May, Humid air masses control the weather completely. The average daily temperatures are around 30-33°C. It rains about half of the month, sometimes every day, while it is usually calm and hot. With a reasonable weather, this month is an acceptable time to visit Bangkok. However, it’s a good time to travel to places like Kanchanaburi and Ayutthaya as the rain brings out the natural beauty of the land.

Eastern Thailand

In the eastern part of the country, June marks the beginning of a three-month rainy phase. This is where it rains the most in June. Koh Chang, as well as on the islands off the northern coast of the Gulf of Thailand can suffer severely from the effects of the monsoon. It will probably rain almost every day, but it will usually be just short heavy rains. Temperatures are around 30°C - the maximum temperature is usually 32°C and the minimum temperature is 28°C. With an uncomfortable climate, June is not a good time to visit this part of Thailand. However, Pattaya proves to be a good alternative on the coast with a slightly milder sky. Northern Thailand

Southern Thailand - East Coast

The east coast of the south remains the place with the best weather at this time in Thailand. Temperatures are around 28-32°C. June will not be able to guarantee stable weather and beautiful landscapes, but during this period you can get a lot of other benefits. For example, the flow of tourists is reduced to a minimum, prices for flights and hotel rooms are falling rapidly.

During this period, the landscape begins to bloom again and the land becomes greener due to the rain. The water levels of the rivers are increasing significantly. If you want to go hiking or trekking in this weather, you should beware of flash floods. The coastal area marks itself out as the best option to experience good weather.

Fairs and Festivals in June

The Full Moon Party, is a tourist festival which takes place on the beach of Haad Rin on Koh Phangan every month of the year, on the day of the full moon.
