We were looking for a place to eat breakfast in Cat Ba Town and we’ve found this Like Cafe and Restaurant. This was a great find where we enjoyed a leisurely brunch before continuing to further explore the island.
Food at Like Cafe
The café serves a wide selection of food such as western food, healthy food, vegetarian food and local Vietnamese food.
We have ordered 2 meals:
Breakfast #1 - cost 40,000 VND
Cheese Omelette - cost 45,000 VND
Both of these dishes come with the Vietnamese baguette (banh mi). The food we ordered looked simple but tasted really good and was very well-presented. It is freshly made and the baguette tastes just right.
Drinks at Like Cafe
This cafe also offers a variety of delicious drinks from Italian and Vietnam coffee to fresh juice and shakes.
We’ve tasted 2 drinks:
Iced coffee with condensed milk - cost 25,000 VND
Yoghurt Shake with Top Cream - cost 35,000 VND
The drinks tasted just as good as they looked like!

Like Cafe Atmosphere
Apart from the food, the atmosphere of the cafe makes it well worth to visit. Like Cafe and Restaurant is nicely decorated in green color with chill vibe created by good music.
At the café you will find free Wi-Fi as it is common in Vietnam. The staff seems very professional and speak good English. The service was quick and friendly.
At Like Cafe and Restaurant both indoor and outdoor seating is available. We wanted to sit outdoor but the café was full of customers so we ended up staying on the sofa indoors. I have to say that the sofa was not really convenient for eating food even if it’s fine when you are just enjoying your cup of coffee.
Overall, Like Cafe and Restaurant is definitely a good place to come if you are staying in Cat Ba Town and missing western food for breakfast or just looking for some nice treats.
