Thailand visa for Kyrgyzstan citizens is not necessary since 15 September 2026, as the Free Visa-Exempt Stay allowing to visit Thailand for up to 30 days became available to the citizens of Kyrgyz Republic. Thailand Visa Exemption for Kyrgyzstan
Starting from 15 September 2026, citizens of Croatia can stay in Thailand without a visa for up to 30 days if arriving at the airport. When entering Thailand through the land border crossings from Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia or Malaysia, Croatians can stay in Thailand visa-free for 30 days too but the number of times you can use visa exemption when crossing by land during the year is limited.
As a citizen of Kyrgyzstan you can use Thailand Free Visa-Exempt Stay if you have the following:
- Passport issued by the Kyrgyz Republic which is valid for at least 6 months from the day of your arrival
- A return or onward travel ticket within 30 days
- A valid QR code of submitted Thailand Digital Arrival Card (mandatory from 1 May 2025)
- A proof of funds - at least 20,000 THB per person and 40,000 THB per family in cash (can be equivalent in Euro or other currency)
Other types of Thailand Visa for Kyrgyzstan Citizens
If you're a citizen of Kyrgyzstan and planning to visit Thailand for more than 15 days, Visa on Arrival will not be suitable for you. You should get another type of Thailand Visa in advance instead.

Thai Single-Entry Tourist Visa for Kyrgyzstan
Single-Entry Tourist Visa is valid for entering Thailand once within 3 months from the date of application. The allowed period of stay is 60 days which can be extended for 30 days once. Thai Single-Entry Tourist Visa can be applied for at Thai embassies or consulates worldwide so Kyrgyzstan citizens can apply for Thai visa not only in Astana, but also in other places.
When applying for Thai Single-Entry Tourist Visa in Astana you need (the exact list of documents depends on embassy / consulate so double check):
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from the day of your arrival.
- Appropriate passport type photo taken within the last six months.
- A ticket for your journey to Thailand and return / onward journey ticket for leaving Thailand within 60 days.
- Proof of accommodation - confirmed hotel booking for the entire stay in Thailand. Book your hotel on Booking.com or Agoda as bookings on these online platforms are usually accepted with no problem.
- Evidence of adequate finance (approximately 700 USD per person or 1,300 USD per family).
- An employment letter.
- Visa fee - 40 USD.
Thailand visa for Kyrgyzstan citizens can also be issued by Thai embassies and consulates in other countries, such as Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, so you can get your visa during your travel.
Thailand Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa for Kyrgyzstan
Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa is valid for entering Thailand within 6 months from the date of application. The allowed duration of stay is up to 60 days per visit. You may enter Thailand again as long as the visa is still valid. Kyrgyzstan passport holders can apply for Thailand Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa only at Thai Embassy in Astana, unless they have a permanent residency somewhere else.
When applying for Thai Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa you will need:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from the day of your arrival.
- Appropriate passport type photo taken within the last six months.
- A ticket for your journey to Thailand and return / onward journey ticket for leaving Thailand within 60 days.
- Proof of accommodation - confirmed hotel booking (at least for the first trip to Thailand). Book your hotel on Booking.com or Agoda as bookings on these online platforms are usually accepted with no problem.
- Bank statement (individual must have current deposit not less than 200,000 THB (5,900 USD) or family at least 400,000 THB (11,800 USD) in the past 6 months.
- Travel itinerary.
- An employment letter.
- Visa fee - 200 USD.
