Ingredients: Boiled Chicken in Fish Sauce
750 g chicken thighs
4-7 cloves of garlic
2 tablespoon of fish sauce
1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
2-4 cups of water to fill in enough to cover the chicken.
2-4 kaffir lime leaves (if desired)
2-3 chilies (if desired)
1 lemon grass, cut into 1 inch pieces (if desired)
Instructions on how to cook Boiled Chicken in Fish Sauce
1. Wash the chicken thoroughly.
2. Pour water into the pot or saucepan, heat it up, wait for the water to boil, beat the garlic, kaffir lime leaves, chilies and lemon grass then add oyster sauce, black soy sauce, fish sauce, stir to combine well.
3. Place the chicken into the water and boil over medium heat for 10-15 minutes according to the size of the chicken, or until the water is reduced down to half.
4. When the time is over, open the lid. Turn the chicken over and cover and cook for another 15 minutes. You can add more water if needed.
5. When pieces of chicken are cooked evenly and in beautiful color, turn off the heat.
