S3 Bus Bangkok Airport
The Bangkok S3 bus changed the old Bangkok bus route 559 (Rangsit - Siam Park - Suvarnabhumi). The old route number is still usually displayed for the convenience of passengers.
All buses running on the Suvarnabhumi Airport S3 Bus route are electric and air-conditioned. The route is operated by the Thai Smile Bus company, which is using new and comfortable, environmentally friendly buses on all its routes.
Bangkok S3 Bus Price
The fare for the electric air-conditioned Bangkok bus S3 depends on the distance traveled and is the following:
- 15 THB: not more than 4 km
- 20 THB: from 4-16 km
- 25 THB: more than 16 km
An additional fee of 2 THB is charged when taking the expressway.
In case of taking the bus to or from Suvarnabhumi Airport, an additional fee of 10 THB is charged.
Therefore, the Bangkok S3 bus ticket price for a trip from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Siam Amazing Park, Dream World, and anywhere else between Siam Park and Rangsit should be 37 THB per person.
The ticket can be bought on board. To pay the bus fare, you can also use the HOP Card.
Bangkok S3 Bus Timetable
Bangkok S3 Bus service operates daily, from 5:30 to 22:00.
The expected frequency of the S3 bus is every 30 minutes. However, the timetable of Bangkok buses, including bus S3, strongly depends on traffic conditions and other factors. The journey from BKK Airport to Siam Park usually takes about 1 hour, and to Dream World about 1 hour 40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
Bangkok S3 Bus Route
The S3 bus runs from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Rangsit, north of Bangkok, and passes Siam Amazing Park and Dream World on the way.
The bus S3 route starts from Rangsit Market, goes along Rangsit-Pathum Thani Road, turns right onto Phahon Yothin Road, turns left onto Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok Road, turns right onto Special Highway No. 9, turns left onto Ram Inthra Road, turns right onto Suan Siam Road, reaches Suan Siam Intersection, turns right onto Seri Thai Road, turns left onto Special Highway No. 9, turns left onto Special Highway No. 7, goes up the Suvarnabhumi International Airport entrance bridge, goes along Suvarnabhumi Road 2 to the end of the route at Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
