Public Bus Routes at Suvarnabhumi Bus Terminal
Even if taking a public bus is not the most popular option for getting to Suvarnabhumi Airport, there are several public bus routes that let you reach different parts of Bangkok City from the airport.
Bangkok bus service is operated by the governmental BMTA and private company Thai Smile Group, which is using the environmentally friendly electric buses on all of its routes.
Public bus routes that are currently available at Suvarnabhumi Bus Terminal:
Bus 555 / S6
BMTA bus 555 is going from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Rangsit and on the way passes the city's second airport, Don Mueang Airport (DMK). Pay attention that this bus doesn't terminate at Don Mueang Airport and just passes it, so you need to get out at the bus stop on the road near the airport.
Thai Smile Bus S6 (555) is supposed to duplicate the old bus 555 route (they even use double numbering for the convenience of passengers). However, in this case it can be a bit confusing, as the bus S6 is going to Krung Thep Aphiwat, which is the main railway station of the city. Bus S6 can be used for getting directly from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Mochit Bus Terminal or Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal.
Bus 554 / S2
Bus S2 (554) is also going from Suvarnabhumi to Rangsit and passes Don Mueang Airport on the way. However, the route is different as it passes Ramintra Road.
