Phan Thiet Railway Station is the nearest to Mui Ne train station, which is located in Phan Thiet City. Only 4 trains make a stop at this station (2 trains from Ho Chi Minh City and 2 from Hanoi, Nha Trang and other northern destinations) so the choice of trains is very limited.

The distance from Phan Thiet Railway Station to Mui Ne beach area, where most of hotels are located, is about 20 km. Mui Ne Town is even further away, located about 30 km away from the train station. Mui Ne Bus 9 route not only spans along Ham Tien beach up to Mui Ne town but also continues to Suoi Nuoc.
Another option that you can use for getting to your accommodation is taking a taxi from Phan Thiet Railway Station to Mui Ne. As the distance from the railway station to your hotel will be about 20-30 km, expect the taxi fare to be around 250,000-375,000 VND (~10-16 USD).
From Binh Thuan Railway Station to Mui Ne
Binh Thuan Railway Station, also known as Muong Man Train Station, is the main train station of the province so most of the trains from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and other destinations in Vietnam stop there.

Until now, public transportation wasn’t available at Binh Thuan Railway Station but the situation has changed as Mui Ne Bus 9 now also makes a stop at T-junction (Ngã 3 Chùa) near the train station.
Normally the start of Mui Ne Bus 9 route was Phan Thiet Railway Station. However, in January 2020 an extension of the route was confirmed and now it also connects Mui Ne and Phan Thiet City with Ham Hiep commune, Binh Thuan Railway Station and Ham Thanh. No expiry date of this route extension was given and now it seems that it have become permanent.
The distance from Binh Thuan Railway Station to Mui Ne beach area is about 30 km and Mui Ne Town is about 40 km away from the train station. Currently, Mui Ne Bus 9 starts the route at Ham Thanh and makes a stop at Binh Thuan Railway Station before continuing the trip via Phan Thiet City, Ham Tien and Mui Ne to Suoi Nuoc.
Before the extension of public bus route, the only option for getting from Binh Thuan Railway Station to Mui Ne was taking a taxi. The distance from the railway station to hotels is about 30-40 km, expect the taxi fare for the journey from Binh Thuan Railway Station to Mui Ne can be around 350,000-500,000 VND (~15-22 USD).
From Mui Ne to Mui Ne Railway Station
Mui Ne Bus 9 is running to the opposite direction on the same way so you can catch the bus going from Mui Ne to Mui Ne Railway Station by just hailing it on the main road in Mui Ne.
