Big C Supercenter Ratchadamri in Bangkok
Big C Ratchadamri Supercenter is a large supermarket located on the opposite side of the street from the famous CentralWorld shopping mall near Ratchaprasong Intersection. There’s an overcrossing connecting both sides of the street, so reaching Big C from CentralWorld is really convenient.
Big C Ratchadamri is more like a shopping mall, especially after the recent renovation. Here you will find not only the Big C supermarket but also plenty of restaurants, shops, banks, and other services. A branch of Superrich can also be found in the building. Big C Ratchadamri is one of the best places to get various Thai snacks for bringing home from Thailand, as the variety of goods on sale here is wider than in an ordinary Big C, and the selection is adjusted to the needs of tourists.
As the nearby shopping malls, such as CentralWorld and Gaysorn, are more on the luxury side, dining there can be quite pricey. If you are looking for a place to eat cheap in this Bangkok area, give a try to the food court at Big C Ratchadamri Supercenter.
Food Court at Big C Supercenter Ratchadamri
The food court of Big C Supercenter Ratchadamri, called Food Park, is located on the top floor of the building. Big C Ratchadamri Food Court is a perfect place to try a variety of Thai food dishes. The most popular Thai food dishes, such as Pad Thai, Som Tam, and Tom Yum Goong, are served here for a reasonable price. The food here is tasty, and the environment is clean.
Big C Ratchadamri Food Court E-Card
To buy food at the food court of Big C Ratchadamri, you need to purchase a prepaid E-Card. E-cards can be refilled with a desired amount starting from 100 THB. If you will not use all the credit, the remaining amount will be refunded upon return of the E-Card.
E-cards can be purchased until 20:45. The card must be returned before 21:00, as the counter closes at that time.

Pad Thai
One of the most popular Thai food dishes, Pad Thai, is offered here and looks really delicious as it’s very nicely presented. You can choose from Pad Thai with squid or mussels, Pad Thai with shrimp or oysters, and Pad Thai with seafood. Oysters’ omelet is another dish served at the food court.
Som Tam
Som Tam, or Thai-style papaya salad, is the most popular salad in Thailand. You can find it being sold on every street in Bangkok. This food court is not an exception. You can choose from Thai-style papaya salad, papaya salad with salted crab, and Thai-style papaya salad with salted eggs.
More salad options are offered by another food stall where you can choose from green papaya salad with seafood, green papaya salad with corn and salted egg, spicy minced pork salad, green papaya salad with pork sausage, green papaya salad with preserved shellfish, and a few others.
Tom Yum
As Tom Yum Goong (Tom Yum with shrimps) is the most popular Thai soup and a must-try Thai food dish, it can also be found at Big C Ratchadamri Food Court. Here it's a bit pricey compared to Tom Yum sold at Terminal 21 Food Court.
Khao Man Gai
Chicken rice, or Khao Man Gai, is another popular Thai dish that can be found almost anywhere in Thailand. Look for the stall with hanging chickens to try Khao Man Gai with boiled chicken, with fried chicken, or with mixed chicken.
Thai Noodle Soup
Various Thai noodle soup dishes are also served at Big C Ratchadamri Food Court. On the menu you can find spicy noodle soup with egg, spicy noodle soup with chicken and egg, spicy noodle soup with fish, spicy noodle soup with squid and egg, spicy noodle soup with river prawns and egg, and spicy noodle soup with seafood and egg.
Another food stall is offering crunchy pork soup, noodle soup with pork and pork balls, spicy noodle soup with pork and pork balls, and others.
The last time we visited the food court at Big C Supercenter Ratchadamri, we opted for spicy noodle soup with pork ribs, which was really delicious and cost only 50 THB.
Thai Omelet
Another good choice at the food court is a set of omelet with rice and soup or curry. Here you can get Khai Jeaw (Thai omelet) with rice and a small bowl of hot and sour soup (Tom Yum), green curry, mushroom curry, or clear soup.
The variety of food at the food court is really wide. Choosing your meal there will be easier if you get familiar with the list of famous Thai food dishes.
Even if you don’t like Thai food and prefer other cuisines, you can find something for yourself at Big C Ratchadamri Food Court.
Desserts
The choice of desserts at Street Food Market is also generous. Don’t miss out on the most popular Thai dessert - mango sticky rice.
