S5 Bus Bangkok Airport
The Bangkok S5 bus changed the old Bangkok bus route 550 (Suvarnabhumi - Happyland). The old route number is still usually displayed for the convenience of passengers.
All buses running on the Suvarnabhumi Airport S5 Bus route are electric and air-conditioned. The route is operated by the Thai Smile Bus company, which is using new and comfortable, environmentally friendly buses on all its routes.
Bangkok S5 Bus Price
The fare for the electric air-conditioned Bangkok bus S5 depends on the distance traveled and is the following:
- 15 THB: not more than 4 km
- 20 THB: from 4-16 km
- 25 THB: more than 16 km
In case of taking the bus to or from Suvarnabhumi Airport, an additional fee of 10 THB is charged.
Therefore, the Bangkok S5 bus ticket price for a trip from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Lat Krabang Road, Sukhumvit 77 Road, and part of Srinagarindra Road (Soi Srinakarin 27) should be 30 THB per person. If you will be traveling further, the bus ticket should cost 35 THB per person.

The S5 bus runs from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Happyland Center in eastern Bangkok and passes The Paseo Lat Krabang, Robinson Lifestyle Lat Krabang, and other places on Sukhumvit 77 Road and Srinagarindra Road on the way.

From Happyland to Suvarnabhumi International Airport, the route starts from Happyland Market along Happyland Road to Happyland Intersection, turns left onto Lat Phrao Road, reaches Bang Kapi Intersection, turns right onto Srinakarin Road, reaches Srinakarin Intersection, turns left onto Sukhumvit Road 77, Lat Krabang Road, turns right onto King Kaew Road, turns left onto Suvarnabhumi Road 2, and ends at Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
From Suvarnabhumi International Airport to Happyland, the route starts from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, goes along Suvarnabhumi Road 2, and follows the same route, reaches Bang Kapi Intersection, turns right onto Lat Phrao Road, reaches Nawamin Intersection, turns left onto Nawamin Road until it reaches Nawamin-Happyland Intersection, turns left onto Happyland Road until it reaches the end of the road at Happyland Market.

To get to Lat Krabang Road, you can take the Airport Rail Link train to Lat Krabang Station (one station from the airport) and get on a bus or songthaew going along Lat Krabang Road.
To get to Bangkapi or anywhere on Srinagarindra Road, you can take the Airport Rail Link to Hua Mak Station and then transfer to the MRT Yellow Line at the nearby MRT Hua Mak Station.
