A2 Bus Bangkok is a shuttle bus service connecting Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) with Bangkok City. The Don Muang Airport Bus A2 is running from DMK Airport to Victory Monument BTS Station. The A2 bus route helps to reach the main areas of the Thai capital conveniently.
Taking the A2 bus from Don Muang Airport to the city is a good choice for travelers because the shuttle bus service is very convenient, not expensive, and quite fast, as the Bangkok A2 bus route is direct and uses the expressway, so it stops at few bus stops only before reaching the final destination.

Bangkok A2 Bus Fare
Current Bangkok A2 bus fare is 30 THB per person.
The ticket can be bought on board. The bus fare can be paid in cash or by Visa or MasterCard, as the new payment method was recently implemented.
To simplify things for traveling on Bangkok public transportation, such as the BTS SkyTrain and MRT Yellow or Pink Line, consider getting a Bangkok Rabbit Card, as with it you won't need to queue up and buy separate tickets for each ride. Even if this card can't be used on the Don Mueang Airport bus, it's still worth it in most cases, as BTS lines are used most frequently for exploring the city.
Bangkok A2 Bus Timetable
Bangkok A2 Bus service operates daily, from 06:00 to 23:00 (the timetable changed recently to start 15 minutes earlier).
The expected frequency of the A2 bus is every 20-30 minutes.

Tips on Taking the A2 Bus
The Bus A2 route was previously passing BTS Mo Chit station and MRT Chatuchak Park Station, just like the A1 bus. However, the route was changed recently, and now it goes to the Victory Monument area more directly. You can still use this bus to reach BTS SkyTrain as it takes you to the BTS Victory Monument Station, which is on the same line as BTS Mo Chit Station but is more near to the city center.
Boarding the A2 bus at Don Muang Airport might not be convenient for passengers with children and big luggage, as the luggage space inside buses is limited. The buses on the A2 route also tend to get crowded during rush hour, so you might need to stand all the way to your destination. The journey can take much more than 30 minutes, as the length of it depends on the time of the day and traffic conditions.
Another alternative to the Bangkok A2 Bus is the recently opened SRT Red Line commuter train that lets you reach the MRT network from Don Muang Airport a bit faster.
