Tips on taking the A1 bus
Bus A1 route passes BTS Mo Chit station and MRT Chatuchak Park Station on MRT Blue Line. This place is roughly midway between Don Mueang Airport and the Bangkok city center. Stopping here and changing to BTS or MRT is a good way to avoid the horrendous traffic in the Thai capital.
Boarding the bus A1 at Don Mueang Airport might not be very convenient for passengers with children and big luggage, as the luggage space inside the bus is limited, and it can get crowded during rush hour, so you might need to stand all the way to your destination. The journey can take much more than 30 minutes, as the length of it depends on the time of the day and traffic conditions.

Tips on taking the A2 bus
The Bus A2 route was previously passing BTS Mo Chit station and MRT Chatuchak Park Station, just like the A1 bus. However, the route was changed recently, and now it goes to the Victory Monument area more directly. You can still use this bus to reach BTS SkyTrain as it takes you to the BTS Victory Monument Station, which is on the same line as BTS Mo Chit Station but is more near to the city center.
Don Mueang Airport Bus A3
Route: Don Mueang Airport to Lumphini Park
Main bus stops: Din Daeng, Pratunam - Airport Rail Link Ratchaprarop Station, CentralWorld shopping mall, BTS Ratchadamri, BTS Sala Daeng, and MRT Si Lom stations, Lumphini Park

Don Mueang Airport Bus Timetable
Previously, Don Mueang Airport Bus A1 and A2 departures were more frequent as there was no convenient public transport alternative for the buses. With the opening of the SRT Red Line, which lets travelers reach the MRT network from DMK Airport faster, the frequency of these main 2 bus routes decreased. However, the timetable was changed recently for the bus to start running earlier, with the first bus departure now scheduled within 05:45-06:20 on all routes.
The current Don Mueang Airport bus timetable is the following:
Bus A1: 05:45-24:00, every 15-20 minutes (was every 5 minutes)
Bus A2: 06:00-23:00, every 20-30 minutes (was every 15 minutes)
