Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem Boat Service

Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem Boat is a public transportation service, provided on the canal in central Bangkok.

The company operates electric boats that can fit up to 30 passengers. Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem Boat is providing the transportation service from Hua Lamphong Railway Station Pier in the Hua Lamphong area to Thewarat Market Pier in Bangkok Riverside. A total distance of the route is around 5 km, with 11 piers, where the boat stops along the route.

From Thewarat Market Pier you can easily walk to Thewes Pier on the Chao Phraya River, where you can transfer to one of the Bangkok river boat routes, operated by Chao Phraya Express Boat and Thai Smile Boat.

In case you want to explore the canals of Bangkok but the experience of squeezing into the boat with crowds of locals doesn't seem tempting, hop on a typical Thai long-tail boat to explore the Bangkok Yai Canal in Thonburi on this Bangkok Canal tour. During this 2-hour canal adventure, you will explore life on and around the klongs (canals) and get a glimpse of how the local people live.

Electric Boat Service Price

The electric boat service is still offered free of charge.

However, there were plans that the service fee would be introduced, and it should be 10 THB per trip. It's still not clear when and if it will happen, as the implementation of paid tickets was strongly delayed.
