Tips

In case you are planning to stay near BTS line and use BTS often, make sure to get Bangkok BTS Rabbit Card that helps you not to waste time buying single tickets each time you travel.

To avoid transferring between different Bangkok public transportation lines, pre-book a direct private transfer to Don Mueang Airport from your hotel.

Apart from A1/A2 Airport Bus, there are other Bangkok bus routes you can take from Mochit bus stop as their route runs along the road leading to Don Mueang Airport. However, these buses don’t go inside the airport, so you need to drop off on the road near Don Mueang Train Station and then walk to the terminal.

If you don't want to take a bus from BTS to Don Mueang Airport, you can take the train to BTS Wat Phra Sri Mahathat station and then continue your trip to the airport by taxi or the combination of MRT Pink Line and SRT Red Line trains.

Traveling to Don Mueang Airport from MRT Blue Line is easier than BTS as you only need to transfer once at MRT Bang Sue station, where SRT Red Line train to Don Mueang Airport can be boarded.
