ICONSIAM Shuttle Boat Service
Previously, ICONSIAM was providing a free shuttle boat service from ICONSIAM pier to Sathorn pier and from ICONSIAM pier to Si Phraya pier. However, starting from 1 May 2023, the free shuttle boat service is not available, and now there are private boat companies managing and providing shuttle boat services for a fee.
Shuttle Boat to ICONSIAM from Si Phraya Pier
The shuttle boat connects ICONSIAM Pier 4 with Si Phraya Pier, located next to the Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Hotel Bangkok.
Previously, the shuttle boat was managed by Thai Smile Boat and was also making a stop at CAT Tower Pier (NT Building) on the way. However, now this shuttle bus route is serviced by a simple cross-river ferry that offers direct connection with ICONSIAM Pier 4.

Starting from 15 November 2025, the shuttle boat is operating from 09:30 to 22:30.
Shuttle Boat Ticket Price
The ticket price was recently increased, and now a single journey trip on the shuttle boat costs 8 THB per person.

Shuttle Boat to ICONSIAM from Sathorn Pier
The shuttle boat connects ICONSIAM Pier 1 with Sathorn Pier (Central Pier), which is the main public transportation hub on the Chao Phraya River. Sathorn Pier is located next to BTS Saphan Taksin Station and therefore is easily reachable by BTS SkyTrain from different parts of the city. This ICONSIAM shuttle bus is serviced and managed by Supatra Boat.

The shuttle boat is operating from 09:00 to 22:50, with a boat normally leaving every 15-20 minutes.
Shuttle Boat Ticket Price
The ticket price was recently increased, and now a single journey trip on the shuttle boat costs 12 THB per person.
At ICONSIAM, you need to buy a shuttle boat ticket at the “Boat Ticket Service” booth, which is located near Pier 1.

Public Boat to ICONSIAM
Several Bangkok public boat routes also make a stop at ICONSIAM Pier. These routes are useful if you are looking to travel between ICONSIAM and more distant destinations, such as Chinatown, Asiatique, Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, or Khao San Road.

Blue Flag Boat
Bangkok Blue Flag Boat, also known as Chao Phraya Tourist Boat, is the most convenient option, as this boat route connects ICONSIAM with all the main tourist attractions along the river. This public boat service is running from Phra Arthit Pier to Sathorn Pier, while in the afternoon the route is extended all the way to Asiatique The Riverfront.
Chao Phraya Tourist Boat fare is 150 Baht for a one-day pass (tickets can be purchased online here: Chao Phraya Tourist Boat tickets). It is also possible to buy a ticket for a single trip on this boat that costs 40 Baht.
Orange Flag / Yellow Flag Boat
Bangkok Orange Flag Boat is the most frequent Bangkok riverboat service of Chao Phraya Express Boat, running all the way from Nonthaburi Pier to Wat Rajsingkorn Pier. While the updated route of the Orange Flag boat includes a stop at ICONSIAM Pier, sometimes this stop gets suspended, and the boat drops passengers on another side of the river, where the ICONSIAM shuttle bus can be boarded.
The Orange Flag boat fare is 18 THB for a single trip.
After the latest update in April 2026, during the daytime on workdays and all day on weekends, the Yellow Flag boats are operating instead of the Orange Flag.
The Yellow Flag boat fare is 23 THB for a single trip.

Thai Smile Boat
The City Line of Thai Smile Boat connects Siam Charoen Nakhon Pier with Phra Pinklao Bridge Pier and makes a stop at ICONSIAM Pier on the way. The electric boats on this route run from 08:30 to 18:00.
The Thai Smile Boat fare is 30 THB for a single trip.
Tips
If you would like to avoid traveling by boat to ICONSIAM, you can take the BTS to Krung Thonburi Station and then transfer to the Gold Line Train, which takes you to the station right next to the shopping mall.
The Bangkok hop-on hop-off bus also passes by ICONSIAM.
