The Orange Flag Boat makes a stop at 30 piers along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, even if some of the piers are skipped during off-peak hours. The route spans from Nonthaburi Pier (N30) to Wat Rajsingkorn Pier (S3), which is located south of the Central Pier. Also known as Sathorn Pier, the Central Pier is the main hub of Bangkok riverboats, as it is conveniently connected with the BTS SkyTrain Saphan Taksin station and can be easily reached from different areas of Bangkok.

The Chao Phraya Express Orange Flag Boat ticket price after the latest decrease from 20 June 2026 is 18 THB for a single trip.
Orange Flag Boat tickets can be bought at the ticket desk found at the pier. Normally separate desks are set up for different boat services.

Important Update!
Starting from 30 March 2026, the Bangkok Orange Flag Boat is changed by the daytime Yellow Flag Boat not only between 08:10 and 15:40 on weekdays but also all day on weekends and public holidays. The Orange Flag Boat currently operates Monday to Friday only!

Currently, Yellow Flag boats also operate between 09:10 and 15:20 on weekdays and from 07:30 to 17:45 on weekends and public holidays, with several additional stops added to the route to change Bangkok Orange Flag Boat during these hours.
Green Yellow Flag boats run from Pakkret Pier (N33) to Sathorn Pier (Central), but they are even less frequent than Yellow Flag boats and operate on weekdays and during rush hour only.
Red Flag express boats operate between Nonthaburi Pier (N30) and Sathorn Pier (Central) only on weekdays and during rush hour only.
Thai Smile Boat, previously known as MINE Smart Ferry, is an electric Bangkok riverboat service also operating on the Chao Phraya River. It's a more environmentally friendly alternative to the Chao Phraya Express Boat. Thai Smile Boat currently operates 2 routes in Bangkok.
