You have two choices for getting from Bangkok Don Muang Airport (DMK) to Pratunam:

Bangkok Don Muang Airport (DMK) is not connected to the city by metro lines yet so taking a bus is the only possible way to get from the airport to Pratunam by public transportation.

Gladly, there is a shuttle bus service connecting Don Muang Airport with Bangkok City. Don Muang Airport Bus A3 connects the airport with Lumphini Park and on the way stops at Pratunam.

All buses running on this route are air-conditioned. A3 Bus quite rarely gets full so in most cases you can board on it even with large luggage. 

Bangkok A3 Bus fare is 50 THB per person. Buses from the airport depart approx. every 30 minutes.

When going from the airport to Pratunam, you need to drop off at the bus stop in front of Indra Square (on the left side of the street as seen below).

Taking a Taxi from Don Muang Airport to Pratunam is a faster and more comfortable way for getting into. The distance between the airport and Pratunam is about 22 km and it can take more than 20 minutes or even more, if the traffic conditions are complicated.

The taxi fare from Don Muang Airport to Pratunam should be around 200 baht not including the airport surcharge and road tolls. The fare can get significantly higher if the traffic will be jammed or if the taxi driver will refuse to turn the meter on.
